One last look at the old
worthless barracs before departure. This was written just after I
left. The buildings were very old and in poor repair, but they did
serve their purpose. Basically, they formed an 'H' or a 'U', the outside
being sleeping quarters and the middle area was shared bathrooms. |

photo of me. Notice the headphones. Everybody had a portable
player and traded cassettes regularly. Occasionally people would play
boom boxes in the squadbay. During this period ZZTop was really big
and the song 'legs' always reminds me of this period. |
